I wrote this song the night one of my good friends',the Black's, house caught fire and burnt completely...I was singing at the church,and God just had me singing the words "wake up" over and over. The reason everyone was able to safely escape the house was that the mom of the family had woken up and sounded the alarm. I don't know if that was coincidence or not but it was pretty cool nonetheless.
