Poem: "Sun-Kissed Goodnight"

Tapestries of golden shine
Red and rust fall and hang
From tears of rainclouds
To sultry summer wind chimes

Frozen wastelands glimmer
Smiling down upon snowdrifts
Crystals glow, and array of color
Illuminate dew on rose's lips

Shadows long, shadows cast
Darkness sure to align
To encompass all day past
Smothering slowly glowing embers
(The ashes to be lit on the morn' to come)

Sleepy eye, dreamy vision
River water sparkles radiant
Fields of green sway, awing
Rainbows of waterfall mist sigh

Creating surreality
Moments of peace
Dreams arise as sun sets
